BEIJING, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Ryan King, born in 1999, is a second-year PhD student at Beijing Technology and Business University. As a Cameroonian student in China, he has spent 7 years studying and living here.
Ryan sees China as the place where he grew into adulthood, which holds great significance for him. In this country, he pursues knowledge, immerses himself in diverse cultures, and builds close friendships. It was in this environment that he cultivated his passion for music and transformed from a reserved person into a more mature and adventurous individual.
Looking ahead, he hopes to return to Cameroon and use the knowledge learned from China to establish a business that fosters friendly exchanges between China and Cameroon.
Ryan's journey reflects the Chinese proverb, "Amity between people holds the key to sound relations between states," as more African students like him choose to study in China, deepening their understanding of the country and contributing to China-Africa friendship.
